John R. Wilson

John is a 1976 graduate of Lincoln Academy in Newcastle, Maine. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine at Orono and his Juris Doctor from the Maine School of Law. He is a member of the Maine State Bar and has practiced since 1986, exclusively in the area of real estate law since 1989. As the owner/manager of Consumer Title, John is committed to providing personal service with professionalism, efficiency and the experience of 20 years.

John lives in Hampden, Maine with his wife and two children. When not "chasing titles" you will usually find him chasing the wind on his bicycle.

"Title and closing is one part law and one part communication. Not only must you be right, but also must be understood to be."

Mark Perry

Mark joined our staff in the spring of 2008, although his experience in title work in our area began in 1981. Mark holds degrees from the Universities of Maine and Wyoming and is admitted to the State, Federal and US Supreme Court Bars. Although he certainly prefers a clean title that can be turned around quickly, he definitely has a talent for figuring out what went wrong with a title and how to fix it.

Mark has 4 boys and has lived in Eddington since 1982, serving on the school board there, the planning board and with the Boy Scouts.

"Doing it right is never easy, but doing it wrong isn't easy to forget."

Susan I. Estes

Sue is one of the friendly faces you might see at your closing. She was born in central Maine, grew up in Guilford, and now lives in Bangor. She believes herself to be a true "Maineaa" if you do not listen to Tim Sample. The Maine humorist says "If your cat has kittens in the oven, you don't call 'em biscuits! With a love of Maine, Sue enjoys kayaking the lakes, hiking the trails and photographing this beautiful state. She has 2 wonderful children and 3 precious grandchildren.

Sue has experience in the real estate industry since 1987 as a broker, in the processing and closing field since 2003, and with Consumer Title since March of 2008. She is ready and willing to put all your closing questions to rest in accurate friendly closings. With hundreds of local closings performed over the past 6 years, Sue personal goal is to be sure everyone is informed, comfortable and happy when closings are done.

"Satisfaction is governed by perception."

Amy Craig

Born and raised in the Bangor Area, Amy graduated from Bangor High School and moved on to study Communication, Sociology and Mediation at the University of Maine, Orono. After graduation she opted to check out other areas and moved out of state. However, you cannot take the Maine out of the girl and after five years, she returned to Bangor.

When she is not working hard at your closings, she can be found outside enjoying the beauty that Maine has to offer - either hiking, snowshoeing or taking photos. Amy has many interests and works hard to hone her skills, not only at work but at home as well, where she spends time in the winter making her friends and family play guinea pig to her culinary skills.

She has been at Consumer Title since early 2007. With over five years of experience in the field, she is always helpful and ready to handle your processing needs. Her energy will be appreciated for sure!
