Lender's Services
Consumer Title offers a full complement of residential and small business, title and closing services. We look forward to assisting you with your closing document needs, from Hud-1 preparation to complete closing documentation. Our signing services are available at our office, yours, or any other location convenient to you or your customer. We perform title examinations throughout the State of Maine and offer title insurance to you and your customers. Also offered is a range of other services such as: current owner searches; mortgage discharges and releases; subordination agreements; construction run downs; and just about anything else you may need to support your loan. We can also prepare your note, mortgage and other documents you may require for your loan. Let us know how we can help.

Buyer's Services
Let us assist you with the purchase of your property. We offer a wide range of services to protect you, from the time of the offer until after the purchase is complete. If you are not utilizing the services of a real estate broker we can guide you through the preparation of a purchase and sale agreement that will work to protect your interests as a buyer. We'll assist your lender from the title examination to the closing. If you are not working with a lender, we offer these services directly to you. Consumer Title will negotiate the complicated waters of real estate conveyancing on your behalf and assure that your interests are protected all the way through the process. And after the sale, we'll see that your interest in your new property is continued to be protected with a title insurance policy.

Seller's Services
We are here to help, from the negotiation of the sale to the purchase of your next property. If you are not utilizing the services of a real estate broker, we will help you prepare a purchase and sale agreement that protects your interests. When it comes to deed preparation, mortgage discharges and releases and the application for exemption from the State's real estate tax withholding, we're the experts. If you are providing financing for the buyer we'll prepare a promissory note and mortgage to protect you. We can even arrange for the tax free exchange of the property you are selling. Consumer Title offers all the assistance you need as a seller.
